Project Title: Ecosystem and Conservation Study

Objective: Describe a local ecosystem and propose conservation actions.

Project Instructions:

  1. 1. Identify a local ecosystem (forest, wetland, farm).
  2. 2. Draw a simple food chain or food web from your ecosystem.
  3. 3. Describe population changes or threats observed.
  4. 4. Suggest two conservation or sustainability actions.
  5. 5. Consult your coach where necessary.

Evidence to Submit:

  • • Ecosystem description.
  • • Food chain/web sketch.
  • • Conservation actions list.

Part C: Training Others

Teach a peer about ecosystems and conservation.

Guidance:

  • • Explain ecosystem components and energy flow.
  • • Discuss a local conservation challenge.

Competency Levels:
