Objective: Connect settlement patterns with environmental management needs.

Project Instructions:

1. Choose one urban center and list factors behind its growth.
2. Compare it with one case study from the list.
3. Identify one environmental hazard in your area.
4. Explain its effects and one conservation measure.
5. Consult your coach where necessary.

Evidence to Submit:

• Settlement study notes.

• Hazard analysis and mitigation plan.
