Objective: Analyze mineral extraction and energy use in a local context.

Project Instructions:

  1. 1. Identify one mineral or mining activity in Kenya or your region.
  2. 2. Describe the mining method and its effects.
  3. 3. List two energy sources used locally.
  4. 4. Classify them as renewable or non-renewable and explain uses.
  5. 5. Suggest one conservation measure.
  6. 6. Consult your coach where necessary.
