Part B: Project
Observe a local ecosystem and identify pollution issues.
Project Title: Ecosystem and Pollution Study
Objective: Apply ecology concepts to a local environment and analyze pollution.
Project Instructions:
- 1. Choose a local ecosystem (field, garden, river, or roadside).
- 2. Identify biotic and abiotic factors present.
- 3. Draw a simple food chain or food web.
- 4. Identify one type of pollution and its causes and effects.
- 5. Suggest one control measure and consult your coach where necessary.
Evidence to Submit:
- • Ecosystem observation notes.
- • Food chain or web diagram.
- • Pollution analysis and control measure.
Submission
Part C: Training Others
Guide a peer on ecology and pollution.
Guidance:
- • Explain ecosystem factors with local examples.
- • Build a simple food chain together.
- • Discuss a local pollution source and control.
Reflection:
- • What did the learner understand well?
- • What needed more explanation?
- • What support do you need from your coach?
Submission
