Practice functional writing and oral communication.

Project Title: Practical Writing and Speech

Objective: Apply writing and oral skills through real-life communication tasks.

Project Instructions:

1. Write a formal letter or email for a real-life situation.
2. Write a well-structured paragraph on a familiar topic.
3. Prepare a short speech (2-3 minutes) and deliver it to a listener.
4. Ask for feedback on clarity, organization, and delivery.
5. Consult your coach where necessary.

Evidence to Submit:

• Copy of the letter or email.
• Paragraph writing sample.
• Speech outline and feedback notes.

Part C: Training Others

Guide a learner on writing or speech delivery.

Guidance:

• Explain the structure of a formal letter or paragraph.
• Demonstrate speech delivery with clear voice and posture.
• Help the learner revise their work.

Reflection:

• What did the learner understand well?
• What was difficult to explain?
• What support do you need from your coach?

Competency Levels:

1 = Expectations not met

2 = Partially met

3 = Satisfactorily met

4 = Excellently met

Coach assessment: Learner completes the self-assessment using the 1-4 scale. The coach prepares a short quiz or conversation (outside the system if needed) and assigns the coach score.
